Special thanks to TNC Teen Club in Bentonville. They are the host of this weekends Electric Houshuko Rave. They have a great setup with a large dance floor, blacklights, a lounge room, and more! Xero Reynolds is a voice actor, artist, writer and musician. His voice credits include roles in ADV films productions such as Gantz, Xenosaga, Elfen Lied, Macross, Samurai Gun, Gatchaman, Jungle Juice, Madlax, Moeyo Ken, and Mermaid Melody. His artwork has been seen in PSM, Worldofwarcraft.com, Analog + D-Pad, Ctrl Alt Del vol2, League of Heroes, "Swordwaltzer Issue 1", and "Blood and Blade: Sketches from the War" as published by Bohemian Trash Studios and Applegeeks vol2 as published by Dark Horse Comics. You can also find his work contributing to the procrastination of an entire generation of workers on the facebook game League of Heroes.

His current online comic projects are Nine Shot Sonata and Swordwaltzer. Nine shot Sonata also ties in with his current music project Hallowpoint, which is slated to release it's first album this year, and can be heard at EBErecords.com. Xero's other musical work can be heard on the initial release of D7PEACEMAKER::STAGE1 by Dementia 7 Studios, and preliminary tests by The Nine. His work has been featured on Catwalk Records, Mp3.com, Kyle Hebert's The Dub Club, as well as Posisonedminds.com Webcam Jammer

We have the official date for the Fall 2010 Arkansas Anime Festival! Please welcome A2F-7, November 20 & 21, to be hosted at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Bentonville, Arkansas! Just a reminder for those who might have trouble finding the info they need on our site. For entry prices, please click on our REGISTRATION Button at the top of the page. For current events listing, please click on the EVENTS button at the top of the page..

We are a family friendly event. We strive to maintain a PG-13 or below rating. We also do our very best to have security on site and to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. We do ask that if your child is 11 or younger that you please accompany them to the event. If your child is 12 or older, please review and remind them of safe habits to use at larger events. We want EVERYONE to have a safe and fun time at the Arkansas Anime Festival!! See you soon!!

2/20...VIP Passes are on SALE...

Friday Night March 5th at 7pm, we are hosting a Voice Actor VIP Pizza Party. There are only 18 passes available. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. The pass includes: 1 Personal Pan Pizza and drink in the company of Vic, Wendy, and Chris, and an Exclusive Photo Poster signed by the guests that you have dinner with.

Dinner will be 1-1.5 hours long and will be held at Boston's located in the same building as the Clarion. Just think, you and our Guests, eating dinner together!! Your friends wil be SOOOO Jealous!

The VIP passes will also entitle you to seating in the first 2 rows on the main events for every event. You will also be allowed to enter the Vendor area 15 minutes earlier than anyone else!! (so you get first dibs on cool stuff) You will also recieve a $5 coupon for the A2F Snack Booth!

Passes are $40 each... and they do not include entry/membership to the Festival. Passes to the Festival must be purchased seperately if you wish to attend the Festival.

2/16...Hotel window contest!

Announcing another great reason to get your Hotel room at the Clarion Hotel in Bentonville. Saturday night March 6th, we are hosting a window contest.

If you book a room with the Arkansas Anime Festival, and you are placed in a room with windows that face the Main Area (Atrium), you can join our Window Contest!

Rules:

NOTHING PERMANENT- period. If you cannot return your room in a clean manner when you checkout, don't do it! The Hotel WILL charge you extra for any mess or damage leftover. A2F will not be held responsible for cleanup of your personal hotel room. Do not use tape or adhesive on the hotel walls, or place holes in or otherwise damage hotel walls.

NOTHING OBSCENE- If what you place up for decoration is not considered Family Friendly, you will be asked to remove it. If it is not removed, you will be asked to leave the convention.

Window space is approximately 4 ft X 4 ft...not everyone who reserves a room will have an atrium window.. it will be on a first come, first serve basis......many of the rooms facing the atrium are king bed rooms as well. Please also remember that the rooms facing the main area will be able to hear the music form the late night events.

Some ideas include: Posters taped to the window, Decorated posterboard, Costumes, Balloons, masks, lights, dolls, plushies.scrolls, etc...

Lets see what you come up with!! Winners will recieve prizes from A2F.

1/27... DJ Nemi will be there!!

Reigning from the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee, Nemi (AKA Colin) is our resident candy kid with a plethora of music that is just as random and exotic as his sense of fashion. Though prone to drop a mainstream track here and there, Nemi prefers to spin music that is somewhat distant from the usual repertoire at Aniraves, assaulting unsuspecting “Otaku” with a dash of Japanese techno underground (give or take a J-rock song here and there) as well as jolly-good bumping bits of Happy Hardcore, Psytrance, Industrial, Drum ‘n’ Bass, remixed anime themes and internet meems. Nemi also enjoys writing fiction, playing his trumpet, and getting lost in cohesive sounds, swirling lights, and endless smiles.

1/25... Ex-Shadow Cosplay Guest!!

Ex-Shadow has been cosplaying for 3 years, and has made 17 costumes so far. He has entered many cosplay masquerades and won two best in shows as well as many honorable mentions. Ex-Shadow is currently a Graduate student studying at the University of Arkansas for a Master's degree in Costume Design. He is excited to be coming to the Arkansas Anime Festival, and looks forward to sharing some of his costume-making skills and advice at his panels. Ex-Shadow's Page

1/20... Chris Ayres is A2F's newest Guest!!

Christopher Ayres has been working professionally in theatre, television and film since the age of 6. His work has been seen Regionally, Nationally and on Broadway. He currently works as a voice actor for ADV FILMS and FUNimation ENTERTAINMENT Chris is also an A.D. R. Director for ADV FILMS and AMUSEMENT PARK MEDIA . His first project at studio was the hit anime musical comedy THE NERIMA DAIKON BROTHERS. In addition to that he is also the director for XENOSAGA: The Animation, and MAGIKANO. Most recently he served as director at Amusement Park Media for MERMAID MELODY PITCHI PITCHI PITCH, and as co-director with Matt Greefield on THE WALLFLOWER.

Some of the roles as a voice actor Chris is best known for are Kei Kourono in Gantz, Suitengu in Speed Grapher, Von Kampher in Trinity Blood, Hayashimizu in Full Metal Panic? Fummofu, Nakamaru in Maburaho, Yaminami in Peacemaker, DJ Plugman in Air Gear , Johnny in One Piece, Sid in Devil May Cry, Yusuf Ali Mesa in Yugo the Negotiator, Koji in Godanner, Murato in Hakugei - Legend of the Moby Dick, Sawadust in A Tree of Palme, Dr. Pluto in BASToF Syndrome, Akimoto in Sakura Diaries,, Kenji Kurata in Diamond Daydreams, Oshodani in Pappuwa, Jimpachi Arishiama in Nanka 6/17, and Woogy in Michel. His voice can also be heard in Elfin Lied, Claymore, Tokyo Majin, Oran High School Host Club, Cannon, Gravion Zwie, Utwararerumono, Coyote Ragtime Show and Desert Punk to name a few. Chris can also be heard a Wagram in the new Square Enix Game THE LAST REMNANT. Chris is also one of the Anime industry voice actors who sings on Voices for Peace. He is very proud to be a part of the "Voices For..." oganization. Chris also works as a professional fight director and has enjoyed bringing his workshop “Mock Combat for Cosplay” to many conventions.
